Troop 44 New Scout Checklist

REGISTRATION

If you haven’t already, register with the Troop. You will find detailed instructions on our Join page.  We welcome all youth to join.  Parents, if you wish to volunteer, you may also join the Troop as a registered adult.

MEDICAL FORMS FOR SCOUTS AND REGISTERED ADULTS

BSA Scouts and Troop 44 require that all members, youth or adult, provide health information and have an annual medical evaluation.

The medical forms have four parts, A, B and C must be done by everyone annually and part D is used only for High Adventure events.

We recommend completing the PDF form on your computer and then printing it for your doctor to complete.  This makes the information more legible, should an emergency should arise.

Once signed and completed, give the forms to Scoutmaster Beck.  Forms are taken on all outings and secured by a responsible adult leader.  Medical information is reviewed and utilized only as needed.

You will find the forms and further details on our Medical Form page.

GRANT YOUR SCOUT ACCESS TO SCOUTBOOK

Parents, log into Scoutbook, click on your Scout’s name, go to ‘Edit Extended Information’ for your Scout and click the option at the bottom of the page to allow your Scout to connect to their own account. The Scout will need their own email account. A temporary password will be sent to them.

● Scout Handbook (if you don't already have one)

● Official BSA uniform (check our lending closet, SCSC Thrift Store, Ebay, Scout Shop, etc)
